The Seven Joys of Mary & The Franciscan Crown

Tomorrow, the Franciscan Order celebrates the feast of the Seven Joys of the Blessed Virgin Mary. On this feast, as on several others throughout the year, members of the three Orders of St. Francis may receive a plenary indulgence with general absolution. As well, a plenary indulgence may be gained each time the Franciscan Crown is recited, under certain conditions. How richly holy Mother Church has endowed the Franciscan Order!
